Division for Student Affairs

The Division for Student Affairs mission is to support students’ success at Southern University Baton Rouge Campus by fostering leadership, mental, social and physical development as well as enhancing the quality of campus life.

Department of Residential Housing

The mission of Residential Housing Department is to offer a living and learning environment that is conducive to academic success, cultural and social development through enhancement of programs.  The department’s focus is to provide a reasonable priced living environment which is well maintained, comfortable and safe, to promote the development of the total student and to ensure the orderly and effective administration of services through sound management and leadership.
