Applications
If you are a new student, you should apply for housing
prior to May 1 for the upcoming Fall Semester, and November
1 for the upcoming Spring Semester. If you are an
upperclassman or transfer student, the application for
University Residence Halls is due December 20 for the
upcoming Fall Semester, and November 1 for the upcoming
Spring Semester. All student applications for the Summer
Sessions are due April.

If you are an
upperclassman or transfer student,
the application for University Residence Halls is due
December 20 for the upcoming Fall Semester. Students who are
in campus housing for the Fall Semester are automatically
transferred to campus housing for the upcoming Spring
Semester. All student applications for the Summer Sessions
are due April 1. The application form should be completed

A new
application is required for each student for each academic year
during the fall semester. Your application must be accompanied by a
$50 security deposit, payable with a cashiers check or money
order. Personal checks are not accepted. Do not send cash
through the mail. You will be billed for housing rent and your meal
plan on your Statement of Account during the registration period.
The
$50 security deposit will be retained as a damage deposit until
you properly check out of a residence hall and have no future
reservation. If you fail to cancel in advance, your $50 deposit
will be forfeited.
All
residence-hall students must participate in the University meal
plan.

Cancellations
To cancel a housing application/reservation after an application has
been submitted and/or a reservation fee has been paid, the student
must notify the Residential Housing Office in writing, 21 days in
advance of the Fall and Spring semesters, and 14 days in advance of
the Summer session. If these requirements are not met, the deposit
will be forfeited.
Housing Fees
Room rent must be paid during the
official registration period. Room rent is not refunded if a
student moves off campus without officially withdrawing from the
University. Refund of room rent will be provided in accordance with
the University Refund Policy.

Refunds
If a student officially withdraws from
the University with no mitigating circumstances, refund of room rent
will be based on the following during the Fall and Spring semesters:
Refunds of room
rent are not given to students who vacate the residence halls
without officially withdrawing from the University or to individuals
who are removed for disciplinary reasons.
Room-deposit
refunds are made following graduation or the presentation of proof
that the students is no longer in residence during a regularly
scheduled semester (i.e., Fall, or Spring). Only that portion the
deposit in excess of any housing charges will be refunded.
Key-deposit
refunds are made by means of a keycard credit voucher that can be
used at registration to post a credit to the students account.
Students who are graduating or no longer live in the residence halls
must secure a validated keycard voucher from the Residential Housing
Office and present it to the Bursar’s Office for a cash refund
Security Deposit
A $50
deposit must be submitted along with the housing application when
the initial request is made for housing. This deposit is retained
on file as long as continuous campus residence is maintained.
It will be forfeited in the event of damages
or other housing charges placed against your account.
The deposit is required in order to remain on campus.
